Thank you for choosing Suds 'N Scissors Inc. Pet Spa for all your pets grooming needs. We pride ourselves on providing the best care possible for your best friend. Before grooming, please read and initial, and sign below so you are aware to our terms of service, Again, thank you for entrusting the staff of Suds 'N Scissors Inc.
We reserve the right to refuse service to customers whose pets may pose a threat to our employees or other pets in our care. This includes aggression problems, health problems, and parasite problems other than fleas. If your pet is aggressive or bites or injures and employee, you may be charged for your full appointment, and have to furnish proof of Rabies certificate as per CA Health Code.
All pets must be current on all vaccinations; from time to time we will AUDIT YOUR PETS VACCINATION HYSTORY and require that you bring in current proof of vaccinations.
SENIOR PETS: Grooming procedures can be sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior pet or pet with health problems, grooming also can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current ones during or after the groom. Because senior pets and pets with health problem a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. In the best interest of your pet this contract/agreement will give Suds 'N Scissors Inc. permission to obtain Veterinary treatment for your pet should it be deemed necessary. We will do our best to contact you first, and then take your pet to an authorized Veterinarian that is available. It is agreed that all incurred charges will be those of said owner of the pet signing this contract.
ACCIDENTS: There is always the possibility an accident can occur, Grooming equipment is sharp, and pets can be very wiggly, especially puppies and pets not familiar even though we use extreme caution and care in all situation, possible problems can occur including cuts, nick, scratches, nail bleeds, etc. especially if your pet is new to the grooming process. We only use hypo allergenic non-tears shampoo, but it is almost impossible to keep any liquids from the eyes, especially if your pet shakes when wet, we will use all care as to rinse your pets face well, and make sure there is no reside left, but this all depends on the cooperation of your pet. JUST LIKE HUMANS SOMETIMES SHAMPOO CAN GET INTO THE EYES!
EARLY PICK-UP: If you arrive early and your pet is still being groomed, please DO NOT TALK or allow your pet to see you. Sit quietly, or step outside for a few moments. Every effort will be made to insure your pet is groomed safely as possible, but an excited pet can be dangerous to continue to work on. If you insist on talking to your pet, or the groomer, we reserve the right to end the grooming session, even if the groom is not completed, and THE FULL PRICE WILL BE CHARGED.
Grooming drop off is between 9:00 - 11:30 am Mon-Friday and 9 - 10:30 Sat UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE. Appointments for pets arriving 15 minutes after the drop off window (or 15 minutes later than the designated in-and-out time) may be forfeited. Pick up is generally between 2 - 4 pm daily. Please note: calling the shop on busy days to ask when your pet will be ready slows down the groomers and effects all out-times. Please schedule on a day when you are flexible. Due to the nature of our services, animal behavior, business volume, and our desire to produce quality grooms...we do not guarantee specific out-times.
